The Delhi Daredevils will look to seal their place in the semi-finals when they take on the Kings XI Punjab in the 44th game of the IPL at Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. Time has come to fire>

The Delhi side has currently 12 points in their 10 games and need to win at least one of their remaining four games, but to feel safe they would like to win two. Punjab has already crashed out of the tournament, but they would love to spoil someone else’s party, as they did for the Mumbai Indians the other night. Played a solid innings at the top>

The Delhi side may go into the game as favourites, but the one thing that they cannot go into the game with is complacency. Already they were beaten by the Kolkata Knight Riders and another loss here would almost stall their momentum and at a time when they could do without it.

Virender Sehwag needs to get going with the bat, and his problems have been compounded by the fact that even Gautam Gambhir has not found his touch; something that had made him one of the best batsmen in the recent times. Delhi need one of these two and one other batsman to afford them a stand, and in the process, get going with the batting that had floundered in the last game.

The positives for Delhi could be the fact that the likes of Dirk Nannes and Ashish Nehra could be back into the side and that will help them overcome the Punjab line-up.

Kings XI Punjab have nothing to lose and will come out all guns blazing. Much like in the manner that they did in the previous game against the Mumbai Indians. The line-up may remain the same, given that Adrian Barath and Mahela Jayawardene did what was expected out of them and Kumar Sangakkara provided the finishing touches.

There could be one change though; Love Ablish could make way for another Indian bowler, but one hopes from their point of view that it is not S Sreesanth!

Delhi are the favourites to win this one, and I don’t see too many people betting against the 4/7 that Victor Chandler offers for their win, as compared to the 6/4 (Totesport) for Punjab to win their fourth game.
