The Delhi Daredevils will play the Rajasthan Royals in the 29th game of the IPL this year. Both sides have featured in the one game before this in the tournament and the Royals were given a thrashing of their lifetime. 
Not only did the Royals lose the game, but they also lost players like Graeme Smith and Dimitri Mascarenhas and that proved to make life difficult for the Royals. However, they have recovered well from those early three losses and won four games in a row to get back into the top four.
In this game, to played at the Feroz Shah Kotla, the Daredevils will need to look at making the top-order batsmen play in a manner that they are not able to provide the kind of starts they have been doing. Naman Ojha and Michael Lumb have both been at the opposition and that has turned things around for them. The biggest plus that the Royals will have from that perspective is that Dirk Nannes has been ruled out of the game and will allow the openers to make merry against a slightly weaker bowling attack.
This will also mean that the Delhi side could have to change things around, and get in someone like a Farveez Maharoof into the playing eleven. That will also add solidity to the batting, and allow the Daredevils to go after the bowling in much the same manner as they have been earlier.
One also gets the sense that the pair of Sehwag and Gambhir have been rather quiet for a length period of time. Not for them to not get the big runs! One can expect a special knock from at least one of them in the game.
I would like to go with the bookies say about this one. Despite all that the Royals have shown in the tournament so far, one would like to believe that Delhi will be the favourites to win this game, and go into the match at 8/11 (Ladbrokes) to do so as compared to 13/10 (Boylesports) for the Rajasthan Royals.
