Betting Preview of England v Bang 2nd ODI at Dhaka

England will play Bangladesh in the second game of the three match ODI series at Dhaka.

England will play Bangladesh in the second game of the three match ODI series at Dhaka. England leads 1-0, and will look to wrap it up here. Good knock, regains form>

The first game was a walk in the park for the English side, but they will understand that Tamim Iqbal needed only one other player to support him to be able to amass a big enough total. Unfortunately that did not happen and the English side ran home winners. However, in the second match of the series at Dhaka, the English side will do well to overcome the opener and hence run through the rest of the batting, which, to my mind, has shown an unhealthy penchant to collapse. out of the side, yet, middle order collapses>

Time and again, the Bangladeshi side has collapsed like no other and the unfortunate bit is that they have yet to learn from their mistakes. With Mohammad Ashraful out of the side, one would have thought that the middle-order could be strengthened by adding someone who could play out the overs, rather than flashing away at every delivery like Ashraful did. Unfortunately, it may take a tad more time for someone to be able to overcome that issue.

England were comprehensive in all departments, but they would probably hope that they bat slightly better than what they did. After all, with the kind of line-up that they possess, a target of around 225 could have been chased around more easily than only four overs to spare, but that did not happen. Thankfully, Kevin Pietersen has got his form back and is looking to play the longer innings after having had a consulting session with Duncan Fletcher.

Boylesports offers 1/6 for an English win, the odds shortening from their previous encounter. But at 5/1 (Bet Fred), the Bangladeshi side will be a tempting bet to make for the punter.
