Razzaq out of tour, Akmal may still keep

Abdul Razzaq will no longer be a part of the Pakistani side after he fractured his hand.

Abdul Razzaq will no longer be a part of the Pakistani side after he fractured his hand. He has been ruled out of competitive cricket for a month, and the tourists play Australia in five ODIs and a couple of T20Is during that period. Fractures his hand>

Razzaq has said that the fracture was sustained while he was batting in the nets. A ball hit his hand and he had to be rushed for an X-ray which confirmed a fracture. He is now in plaster and will miss the rest of the tour. Will he, won't he?>

In other news from the tour, Kamran Akmal, the Pakistani wicket-keeper has said that he will continue to keep wickets for the Pakistani side in the final game. This comes as a surprise given that the Pakistan Cricket Board has already sent for a replacement for Akmal after his poor performance in the previous game.

Sarfraz Ahmed is said to be a replacement for Akmal, although there is a reasonable chance that Akmal may play as a pure batsman in the side.

Akmal had dropped four catches in the Australian second innings at Sydney, and three of them were from Michael Hussey that led to the home team winning a game from a position of almost no-hope. Many experts have blamed Akmal for the defeat.
