Australia will play West Indies in the third and the final test match of the Frank Worrell trophy. Australia leads the series 1-0 after having beaten the West Indian side in the first test match at Brisbane before the second game at Adelaide was drawn. 
West Indies had shown a remarkable improvement in the second game at Adelaide, after having being thoroughly outplayed at Brisbane – losing by an innings in the process. That is probably one reason why the Aussies will go into the game as favourites but, not by anywhere close a margin as it was before the start of the second test match.
This means that the 888Sport offers 1.36 for an Australian win as compared to Bet365’s offer of 9 for the West Indian side to make it 1-1 – a possibility that looked as impossible as flying pigs till before the start of the second test match.
With the Aussies having lost Ben Hilfenhaus to injury and the chances of Peter Siddle making it to the side for the third game also seemingly low, the West Indian chances have taken a rise. Brett Geeves could make it to the Aussie side in place of Siddle at Perth.
For West Indies, despite Chris Gayle’s good form, he will need support from one of the other senior men – Shivnaraine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan. Apart from them, the bowling will need to continue attacking the Aussies in the same manner that they had in the previous game, with Kemar Roach and the rest looking to exploit the WACA conditions.
