Sreesanth unable to play at the T20 match

The Indian cricket pacer, Shanthakumaran Sreesanth will probably miss the Twenty20 Clash match to be held in December 9th, 2009.

The Indian cricket pacer, Shanthakumaran Sreesanth s sreesanth will probably miss the Twenty20 Clash match to be held in December 9th, 2009. The match will be played between the Indian team and the Sri Lankan team.

However, Sreesanth can’t make it through the match as he is ill with an upset stomach. India Captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni also confirmed this news. Dhoni further added “I don’t know the scene right now, but Nitin Patel, the physio told me that he was ill, and it may be diarrhea or something.”

Sreesanth is the in-form player who hails from Kerala. He didn’t attend the pre- match training session in Jamtha at the VCA stadium. After 19 months with excellent bowling background, he returned to international cricket. His bowling style provided many innings victory to the India team over the Lankans in the second three test series at Kanpur.

Sreesanth also performed excellently in the third and the final test match which was held at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. This match was won by India by innings to wrap the series of 2-0.

The Indian team has already crowned themselves as the number one team in test rankings. The team is looking forward in asserting their talent and preeminence in a short period. During this period they will clash against Sri Lanka team in the first Twenty20 International match to be held in Nagpur on Wednesday.
