After Conor McGregor’s rampage at Barclays Center which resulted in canceled fights and injured fighters, many were starting to wonder what the Irishman has to say. Many have been keeping an eye on social media, waiting for him to break his silence.

Currently, McGregor is facing 10 misdemeanor charges as well as 2 felony charges for his actions. While McGregor did spend a night in jail, he was let go after posting a $50,000 bail. In addition, he also paid $8,000 in damages.

Recent updates have surfaced that McGregor will most likely get a plea deal. According to TMZ, he might be offered to plead guilty to felony criminal mischief. Then McGregor can decide if he will accept the offered deal or go to trial. In the event that he does plead guilty, he could be ordered to return to court after a year, but there is a chance the charge could get knocked down to misdemeanor.

After all the events unfolding, the Irishman took to social media to break his silence. On Monday, he posted a couple of emojis – not any text. The first post looked like McGregor exiting the court house, which he captioned with prayer hands as if asking for divine intervention.

The second post showed a lighter demeanor depicting his son and girlfriend, which he captioned with a heart emoji.

Although these posts are not what most people are expecting, in a way, the public is hearing from McGregor’s side. At least it is a calmer version of what happened last week.

In other channels, there have been chatter about another Floyd Mayweather Jr and Conor McGregor fight – this time in the Octagon. Unfortunately, due to the events that happened, it seems that McGregor is not in a good light with the UFC. Things might not be looking so good for the Irishman.
