Body Punches

Body Punches in boxing are punches that land below the neck of the opponent but above the belt.

They are considered one of the prime shots a boxer can make, as they can result in an instant knockout.

It can also cause lingering pain that can slow down an opponent and make them struggle. Knockouts from a body punch are completely possible, especially when targeting vital areas like the liver or solar plexus.

Body punches should be executed with caution and proper technique, as throwing them incorrectly can leave the head completely exposed to the opponent's counterattacks, such as a deadly hook.
