Semsi Yarali
Semsi Yarali is a female boxer from Turkey, who is a member of Ankara’s TSE club.
Yarali has been known to participate in many international tournaments representing Turkey, and has even garnered medals during some of those appearances.
The first medal that Yarali won was a silver medal during the World Championships that was held in Podolsk, Russia in 2005. This was the 3rd World Women’s Boxing Championship that was held on September 25 to October 2 of the said year. During the competition, Yarali competed in the Cruiserweight division weighing at 86 kilograms.
The following year, Yarali participated in the same competition, which was then held in New Delhi, India. It was the same division, that was held on November 18 and 23, but this time she slid a place lower, earning herself a bronze medal.
It was two years later that Yarali won another medal, but this time, it would be her first gold medal, which she won at Ningbo City, China. The competition where Yarali won the said medal was the 5th AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championship that was held on November 22 to 29, still in the cruiserweight division of the said competition.
