The Ali-Frazier Rivalry
Perhaps everyone can still remember the epic battle between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier, which was one of the most brutal boxing matches in history. Muhammad Ali had a daughter named Laila Ali, and Frazier who was eager to avenge the loss of Joe Frazier wanted to fight against Laila.
As history repeats itself, both women were undefeated before they faced one another. Their boxing match was eventually named as Ali-Frazier IV because it seemed to be the continuation of their fathers’ rivalries. However, Frazier got defeated by a unanimous decision and Frazier captured her critics’ heart and respect. At the end of the match, both Ali and Frazier both wanted to bring positive influence to the sport, as boxing is mostly misunderstood as brutal and reckless by many.
