Alicia Ashley is a Jamaican-American female boxer and former world Super Bantamweight champion. She was born on August 1967 in Jamaica and moved to the US at a young age. She turned pro in 1999. In her first match she defeated Lisa Howarth in a match that was held in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Her second pro boxing match ended in defeat as she was outpointed by Doris Hackl.

Following her loss, she rebounded with a win against Bonnie Canino. The match was held in Mississippi. After finishing her first three fights, Ashley took a hiatus. She returned to pro boxing in February 2000 when she met with Laura Serrano, she lost. She split her next two fights. Then she met Leona Brown. She defeated Brown in a game that lasted over 8 rounds. She followed that match by a success against Kelsey Jeffries. The fight against Jeffries was held in Nevada.

In the year 2001, Ashley won a decision victory fight. In 2002, she went up against Layla McCarter. The fight ended in a draw. It was Ashley’s Las Vegas debut. A month later, Ashley fought against Jeffries again. The two fought for the vacant World IWBF featherweight title. She won the match and became champion.

Her next fight was against Chevelle Hallback. She lost against Hallback who was the WIBA world Jr. Lightweight titleholder. Following her defeat by Hallback, Ashley returned to the Super Bantamweight division. This time, she defeated Marcela Acuna and took home the Super Bantamweight title. A rematch was scheduled. Ashley still went home with the title. Later that year, she lost her title to Esther Schouten. Next she defeated Shondell Alfred in March 2004.

After defeating Shondell, she took a hiatus and retuned to fight on March 2005. She played and won against Elena Reid.
