David Griman was born on March 10, 1967 in Los Teques, Venezuela. He is a former Venezuelan professional boxer who won his World Boxing Association flyweight belt in 1992.

He competed three times in 1986. He first defeated Lernik Papyan of the Soviet Union, but then lost to Arthur Johnson from the United States. He was a runner-up at the World Championship in Reno, Nevada, losing to Pedro Reyes of Cuba.

In 1987, he became the flyweight Silver medalist at the Pan-America Games and then competed in the Seoul Olympic Games in May 1988, representing Venezuela. He lost to Serafim Todorov from Bulgaria.

Griman started competing in the professional level in 1989, and then was declared the World Boxing Association flyweight champion in 1992 defeating Aquiles Guzman. He continued to defend his title by the following year. In 1994, he unfortunately lost his belt to Sean Sor Ploenchit from Thailand.
