Pedro Flores stands 5 feet and 2 inches tall, very much fund of using the orthodox stance and was born on July 13, 1978 in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico this is district is the coterminous with Mexico City. Though he grew up away from the limelight, in 1981 he made history by becoming the boxer who managed to place a dent on Yoko Gushiken; a Japanese boxer with numerous unbeatable records. Because of his achievement, he gained an exquisite reputation and was able to take the World Boxing Association (WBA) Light Flyweight Championship away from the unbeatable Guhiken. Gushiken’s career began to fall apart after he lost the fight which lead to his retirement from boxing five months later. A memorable twelve rounds was given to the fans of both player, but Flores was fortunate enough and it was said that he was able to grab the title because he reserved his energy which enabled a knockout on the twelfth round.
Flores reigned as WBA Light Flyweight Champion from March 8, 1981 to July 19, 1981 wherein Hwan Jin Kim of Korea took away the title.
