Gabriela Diana "Sweet Poison" Fundora was born on March 29, 2002, in West Palm Beach, Florida. The American fighter stands 175 cm tall, possessing a massive height and reach advantage over nearly all her opponents in the Flyweight division.

She competes in the Flyweight division and fights from a southpaw position. She comes from a fighting family; her older brother is Sebastian Fundora, a unified World Champion. Like her brother, she is known for her exceptional height for her weight class, using her long jab and uppercuts to dominate opponents from range.

She trains out of Coachella, California, under the guidance of her father and trainer, Freddy Fundora.

Career

Fundora began her professional campaign in May 2021 with a unanimous decision victory. She quickly moved up the ranks, utilizing her physical advantages to remain undefeated. In October 2023, she captured her first world title by knocking out the experienced Arely Muciño in the fifth round to win the IBF Flyweight World Title.

She successfully defended her IBF title against Christina Cruz and Daniela Asenjo before securing a historic unification bout. On November 2, 2024, Fundora faced the unified WBA, WBC, and WBO champion Gabriela Celeste Alaniz in Las Vegas.

In a dominant performance, Fundora dropped Alaniz twice before stopping her in the seventh round via knockout.

With this victory, Fundora unified all four major belts plus the Ring Magazine title, cementing herself as the undisputed queen of the Flyweight division and one of the sport's top pound-for-pound fighters.
