Jasmine"The Animal" Artiga was born on April 5, 1992, in Tampa, Florida, United States of America. The American fighter is 163 cm tall and has a wingspan of 163 cm.

She competes in the Super Flyweight division and fights from an orthodox position. Known for her athleticism and relentless pressure, Artiga had a unique path to boxing; she played professional football in the LFL for the Tampa Breeze before picking up the sport at age 21.

She is of Cuban descent and is trained by her father. As an amateur, she was highly successful, winning the National Golden Gloves and Florida State Golden Gloves before turning professional.

Career

Artiga began her professional campaign in May 2017 with a first-round knockout victory over Mistery Neal. She built an undefeated record fighting primarily in Florida, steadily climbing the rankings with her aggressive style.

Her career reached a new level in 2025. In March, she traveled to San Bernardino, California, to face Regina Chavez for the WBA Super Flyweight World Title. In a hard-fought battle, Artiga won via majority decision to capture her first world championship.

Following her title win, Artiga signed with Jake Paul's Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), significantly boosting her profile. She made her first successful title defense in August 2025 at the Caribe Royale in Orlando, stopping Linn Sandstrom in the third round via TKO.
