Oshae Jones was born on March 1, 1998, in Toledo, Ohio, United States of America. The American fighter is 173 cm tall and has a wingspan of 168 cm. She has a nickname of “Suga”.

She has competed in the Welterweight and Super Welterweight divisions. She fights from an orthodox position and is part of a fighting family; her brother, Otha Jones III, is also a professional boxer. She made history as the first female boxer from Ohio to represent Team USA at the Olympics.

Career

Jones began her professional campaign in June 2022 with a unanimous decision victory over Sonya Dreiling. She quickly progressed through the ranks, capturing the NABF Super Welterweight title in November 2023 with a first-round stoppage of Samantha Pill.

In November 2024, Jones achieved world championship status by defeating Femke Hermans in Atlanta. She won a split decision to capture the IBF and IBO Super Welterweight World Titles, handing the experienced Belgian champion a defeat on U.S. soil.

Jones successfully defended her unified titles in July 2025 against mandatory challenger Elia Carranza. In a closely contested bout at The Tabernacle in Atlanta, Jones secured a split decision victory to retain her belts and maintain her undefeated record.
