Career
Carrington began his professional campaign in October 2021, debuting on the Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III undercard. He had a decorated amateur career, winning the 2017 New York Golden Gloves and the 2020 U.S. Olympic Trials, but opted to turn pro after the Olympics were postponed.He built an undefeated record with a series of impressive knockouts, including victories over Bernard Angelo Torres and former world title challenger Jason Sanchez.
In February 2024, Carrington won the vacant NABF, IBF International, and WBO Inter-Continental Featherweight Titles. He captured his first world title in July 2025, defeating the previously unbeaten Mateus Heita by a wide unanimous decision to win the vacant WBC Interim Featherweight Championship.
