Denys Yuriyovych Berinchyk was born on May 5, 1988, in Krasnodon, Ukrainian SSR. The Ukrainian fighter is 170 cm tall and has a wingspan of 170 cm.He has competed in the Lightweight division during his professional tenure.

Career
Berinchyk began his professional campaign in August 2015 after a highly decorated amateur career. As an amateur, he won silver medals at both the 2011 World Championships and the 2012 London Olympic Games.He won his first 18 professional fights, capturing the WBO International and European Lightweight titles. His career is defined by a rivalry with Emanuel Navarrete. In May 2024, Berinchyk defeated Navarrete by split decision to win the vacant WBO Lightweight World Title.
His first title defense came in a rivalry with fellow Olympic silver medalist Keyshawn Davis in February 2025. Berinchyk suffered his first professional loss, losing the title via TKO in the fourth round.
