Cesar David Carmona Ramirez was born in Mexico City, Distrito Federal, Mexico on May 5, 1991. He continues to reside in and fight out of Mexico City. Carmona made his debut in April 2009. His first opponent was Victor Manuel Agudo and it was a loss. His first win was against Alejandro Lopez. It was followed by a draw against Eduardo Amador in December 2009.He did not win his first professional title until May 2013. It was the WBO Youth Super Flyweight title. He successfully defended this title against Ruben Tostado Garcia in September 2019 and against Ricardo Rodriguez in July 2014.
In March 2015, he won the WBO Latino Super Flyweight title after he defeated Daniel Lozano. He defended this in October 2015 against Ricardo Rodriguez. In 2016 and 2017, he had a string of three losses and in March 2018, he won the WBC Latino Bantamweight title against Jesus Iribe.
He lost twice more after that win then he won the WBC FECAROX Super Bantamweight title after he beat Jose Sanmartin. From August 2021 to February 2023, Carmona has lost four times, most recently to Jesus Arechiga Valdez.
