Career
He turned pro in May 2015, going up and winning against Mitch Mitchell. He impressively downed Mitchell in the first round. As of December 2022, he has 25 fights, winning 23.
His first professional title was the BBBofC Southern Area Light Heavyweight title, which he won in May 2017 after going up against Chris Hobbs. In that fight, he downed Hobbs six times. A few months later in July, he won the WBO European Light Heavyweight title after beating Richard Baranyi.
In September of that year, he picked up the WBO Inter-Continental Light Heavyweight title. In 2017 and 2018, he successfully defended both titles.
His first loss came in 2019. He was beaten by Sergey Kovalev and lost his WBO World title. In December 2020, he had his second loss, this time to Lyndon Arthur. It cost him the chance to pick up two titles - Commonwealth Boxing Council Light Heavy and the WBO Inter-Continental Light Heavy.
He won both titles in 2021 after a re-match with Arthur. In January 2023, he is set to go up against Artur Beterbiev for the IBF World Light Heavy, WBC World Light Heavy, and the WBO World Light Heavy titles.
