Professional Career

Diaz became a professional boxer when he challenged Vincent Alfaro and won the match via unanimous decision. What made him win the match is when he knocked down Alfaro over four rebounds. In January 2020, he managed to out throne former IBF Super Featherweight champion Tevin Farmer.

It’s a good thing that after the fight, there was no bad blood between them. Diaz remarked that Farmer is a hell of a fighter, and he’s thanking the opportunity to fight with him.

On the other hand, the first time he was stripped of a world championship title is when he was penalized by $100,000.00 for the missing weight. After the fight was pursued, the judges have scored them immediately. In the end, both of them won and received a majority draw.
