Born in Sydney, Australia, Timofei Konstantinovich Tszyu, otherwise known as Tim Tszyu, is a professional boxer. He held the title as Australia’s light-middleweight champion in 2019. He has a total fight of 19 with no losses. Out of 19, 15 of those fight was won by knockouts.
Tszyu’s original roots are from Russia. His father is also a popular professional boxer. Konstantin Borisovich Tszyu or Kostya is the undisputed light-welterweight champion. Boxing was always part of Tim Tszyu’s life. However, it was not until Tszyu was 15 when he decided to pursue a career in boxing.

Before Tim Tszyu showed interest in boxing, he enrolled in gymnastics when he was six (6) years old. At age 10, he later decided to play football. During his years playing football, Tszyu was already astounding. He has represented multiple local teams. But, his interest in the sport started to wane down when his family relocated to Moscow.
Once Tim Tszyu has decided to pursue a career in boxing, he managed to collect a boxing record of 33-1 (33 wins and one loss) as an amateur. Before pursuing a professional career in boxing, Tszyu had a hand injury preventing him from playing the sport for four years.
In 2016, at age 22, Tim Tszyu made his professional boxing debut won the World Boxing Council – Asian Boxing Council (WBC-ABCO) Continental light-middleweight title. He defeated Zorran Cassidy by the unanimous decision of the judges. By November 2019, he defeated another contender, Jack Brubaker, by technical knockout (TKO). Another highlight of Tszyu’s career in boxing is defeating WBO welterweight champion, Jeff Horn, in August 2020.
