Jerome Arnould is a French boxer born on March 18, 1985. His birthplace is Beaumont-sur-Oise. It is a small town in Val’d Oise. The French boxer grew up in the region. He started training for boxing during his younger years.

His first fight happened in 2004 in Fleury-les-Aubrais, Loiret against Gregory Athenion. He won via TKO in his professional match. The next three matches proved successful for Arnould and this is the reason why he was called the Luckyman. His first loss happened outside France, in a fight against Massimo Mora in Palazzetto dello Sport, Italy.

Jerome Arnould achieved his first title in October 26, 2006. The French Professional Bantamweight Championship happened in Agde where his opponent was Jean Marie Codet. As a challenger, Arnould won at the end of ten rounds through unanimous decision. Arnould was only 21 then. He was considered the youngest professional French champion.

At 22, Arnould was ever shining in the bantamweight division. He was offered a match for the WBA world best. This is against Wladimir Sidorenko, the Ukrainian bronze medalist in the 2000 Sydney Olympics. The fight happened on June 29, 2007 in Marseille. It ended in the 7th round when the young French fighter was knocked out. Back then, he was trained by Daniel Barry. The organization was heavily criticized by the boxing community. Arnould was considered inexperienced to beat somebody like Sidorenko.

After the setbacks, Arnould garnered seven consecutive victories. His next fall was on March 20, 2010, against Jamie McDonnell which was caused by a referee stoppage. It was during the EBU European Championship fight. His very last fight happened in 2012 versus Anthony Retoul.

After his retirement, Jerome Arnould now lives in Quebec, Canada. He now owns a fitness boxing center called Espirit Boxe Fitness.

Some of his awards include the French junior amateur flyweight champion in 2003, Professional French bantamweight champion in 2006, the 2007 WBA World Bantamweight Title Challenger and Challenger for the European EBU bantamweight title in 2010.
