Steve Molitor is a professional boxer from Mississauga, Canada. Born April 4, 1980, the Canadian boxer is currently the reigning International Boxing Federation super bantamweight champion, with a record of 27-0 and 10 wins by KO.

Molitor started to box at the young age of 9, following the footsteps of older brother and former Commonwealth champion Jeremy Molitor. The younger Molitor turned professional on May 18, 2000 after winning against Julio Luna in an eight-round decision. Two years later he defeated former Olympian Scotty Olson, gaining the Canadian superweight bantam title. On September 21, he went on to defeat Nicky Booth at the Brentford Leisure Center to win the Commonwealth bantam championship title.

By 2004 he had won by a unanimous decision against Hugo Dianzo and claimed the NABA North American title. The Canadian boxer’s next fight was opposite Michael Hunter on November 10, 2006, a match he won by knocking out the British boxer on the fifth round, winning the vacant IBF super bantamweight title. He made his first title defense on July 14, 2007 by winning against South African boxer Takalani Ndnovu at Casino Rama, Ontario. The match, which ended in the 9th round, was his fourth win in a row by stoppage. His second defense came on October 27 against Thai boxer Fahsan (Fashung) 3K Battery of Bangkok, a match in front of an audience of 5,200 fans in Orilla, Ontario. His third defense was on January 19, 2008 against Ricardo Castillo, which he won by a unanimous decision. His most recent match defending his title was against Fernando Beltran on April 5, 2008 at Casino Rama.

The 28-year old Molitor still has to lose a fight. He has won a total of 27 fights in his career with 10 wins by knock-out.
