After successfully re-scheduling their fight to September 19, 2009, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Juan Manuel Marquez are now fully concentrated in their trainings, with only 5 weeks left till their mega fight on Saturday at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. The ‘Number One/Numero Uno’ bout of Mayweather and Marquez will be televised live by HBO Pay-Per-View. Mayweather, Jr.>

After hearing about Marquez’s training preparation, this is what Mayweather posted on his official Twitter account, “Marquez says hes goin after my ribs but theres no weakness in MONEY MAY. Only ribs he’ll b diggin n2 will b at Outback after I take him down.”

On the other hand, Marquez is in Mexico working on his speed and timing, throwing a lot of punches at Mayweather to pressure him down during their fight. However, Marquez is having a hard time finding a sparring partner who has the fighting style of Mayweather.

“It is difficult to find sparring with his style, but the boys here are doing well because what we need is to work with is speed and not so much power. The plan will be to work a lot of speed. We will continue sparring by throwing a lot of punches in six to eight round sessions, and we will look to throw more when I work the mitts,” Marquez said.
