Pinnacle Sports

Pinnacle Sports (also known as Pinnacle) is an online gaming website that was founded in 1998 and is operated by Pinnacle Sports Worldwide. Since its inception, Pinnacle Sports has become one of the world’s largest, fully licensed, online sportsbooks. Presently, the company has customers in over 100 countries and is available in 14 different languages. Several online websites, including Sportsbook Review (SBR), a leading authority on online gaming, rate Pinnacle Sports as one of the top gambling sites on the internet. While most of the company information, including number of employees and gross revenues are kept private, Michael Konik, author of The Smart Money, believes "it would not be out of line to guess that their [Pinnacle Sports] annual handle is in the billions of dollars." Although it has never been confirmed by Pinnacle, former Intertops founder and WWTS executive Simon Noble is believed to be their CEO.

Pinnacle Sports is located on the island of Curacao, and is fully licensed and regulated by the Government of the Netherlands Antilles, which also functions as the regulating body for the gaming industry. Regulation requires that Pinnacle Sports must maintain sufficient funds to be able to honor the winnings of their customers at all times.

Pinnacle Pulse

In 2005, Pinnacle Sports introduced Pinnacle Pulse, a series of articles published online and written by Simon Noble. The articles were intended to give gamblers details into key games and spread movement, while offering some less experienced gamblers insight into the theory behind successful gambling. The series was discontinued for sometime in 2007, but relaunched by Pinnacle on July 20, 2007 with Pinnacle claiming that the series was new and improved to make all players better bettors.
