FIBA 33, now known as 3x3 or 3 on 3, is a variation of basketball.

It is played with three players on each team, using only one hoop. The game takes place on a half-court, with a 12-second shot clock.

Teams score by making baskets, each worth one point, or shots behind the arc, worth two. The first team to reach 21 points or the leader after 10 minutes wins.

3x3 is recognized as the largest urban team sport in the world. FIBA has promoted 3x3 as a way to bring basketball to more people globally. It became an Olympic Sport in 2020 and is also included in the Youth Olympic Games.
