Tony Bobbitt

Tony Bobbitt is an American former professional basketball player who played briefly in the National Basketball Association for the Los Angeles Lakers, and various other professional leagues.

He stands 193 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 93 kg. He shot right and played shooting guard throughout his career.

High School and College Career

Bobbitt attended Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida, where he played alongside future NBA star Vince Carter.

He began his college career at the College of Southern Idaho (2000-2002) before transferring to the University of Cincinnati (2002-2004).

At Cincinnati, he averaged 13.3 points per game as a senior and earned Third-team All-Conference USA honors in 2004, becoming just the third reserve player in the league's history to receive all-conference recognition.

Professional Career

After going undrafted in 2004, Bobbitt began his professional career with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2005. He then played in Italy with Air Avellino (2005-2006) before returning to the United States to play in the NBA Development League with the Bakersfield Jam (2006-2007).

He had brief stints with the Colorado 14ers and Oklahoma Storm in 2007, followed by time in Germany with Eisbären Bremerhaven and another spell with the 14ers in 2008.

He then played for the Maine Red Claws (2009-2010) and Springfield Armor (2010).

His later career included stops in Cyprus with AEK Larnaca (2010), Mexico with Huracanes de Tampico (2010-2011), another stint with the Springfield Armor (2011), and concluded his career with the Idaho Stampede (2011-2012).

Throughout his career, he wore jersey number 15 and played the shooting guard position.
