Selected 139th overall by the Kansas City Kings in the 1975 NBA Draft, Bostic signed with the Kings but did not play for the team. He later signed with the San Antonio Spurs in 1977 but again did not appear in any games.He finally made his NBA debut with the Detroit Pistons in the 1977-78 season, appearing in four games. He later played in the Continental Basketball Association, where he led the league in rebounding in 1980.
