High School and College Career
Beasley graduated from Moreno Valley High School in California in 1999. In his senior year, he led Moreno Valley to a 25-6 record.
He began his college career at Midland College in Texas (1999-2001) before transferring to the University of North Dakota (2001-2003).
As a senior at North Dakota, Beasley averaged 26.6 points and 8.9 rebounds per game while shooting 51.3% from the field. He was named North Central Conference Player of the Year and earned First-team All-NCC honors in both 2002 and 2003.
Professional Career
Selected 33rd overall by the Miami Heat in the 2003 NBA Draft, Beasley’s NBA career was brief, consisting of just two games for the Heat during the 2003-04 season.
After his short NBA stint, Beasley played for numerous teams across the globe. He won a CBA championship with the Sioux Falls Skyforce in 2005. While with the team, he once scored a career-high 33 points in a game against the Idaho Stampede on February 25, 2005.
He also won an NBA D-League championship with the Dakota Wizards in 2007.
In 2008, he joined EiffelTowers Den Bosch in the Netherlands, winning the Dutch Cup in 2009.
During his time there, he set a career high of 22 rebounds in a game against LWD Basket on December 12, 2009. He concluded his professional career with APOEL in Cyprus during the 2011-2012 season.
