Selected 74th overall by the Cincinnati Royals in the 1967 NBA Draft, Beasley instead played professionally in the American Basketball Association.He spent most of his career with the Dallas/Texas Chaparrals (1967-1971) before concluding his professional career with The Floridians in 1971.
