MacCulloch attended Shaftesbury High School in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He then played college basketball at the University of Washington from 1995 to 1999, where he earned First-team All-Pac-10 honors in both 1998 and 1999.Professional Career
MacCulloch was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers] in the second round of the 1999 NBA Draft. He played two seasons with the 76ers before signing with the New Jersey Nets for the 2001-02 season.He returned to Philadelphia for his final season in 2002-03 before being forced to retire due to his medical condition.
After retiring from basketball, MacCulloch pursued a successful career in competitive pinball, winning the Pinball Expo in Chicago in 2011.
He was inducted into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame in 2014.
