Kenneth Bannister

Kenneth Bannister is a former American professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) and various international leagues. He had a lengthy career spanning multiple countries and leagues from 1984 to 2000. The Los Angeles Clippers was among a few NBA teams he has played with.

Bannister was selected by the New York Knicks in the seventh round of the 1984 NBA Draft. In the NBA, he played for the Knicks (1984-1986) and Los Angeles Clippers (1988-1991), appearing in 253 games and scoring 1,501 points. His best NBA season came in 1985-86 with the Knicks, averaging 8.6 points per game.

After his NBA career, he played extensively in various leagues worldwide, including stops in Israel, Spain, Puerto Rico, Argentina, and Brazil. He also served as a player-coach for the Treasure Coast Tropics of the USBL in 1996.
