LaMark Baker is an American former professional basketball player who played briefly in the National Basketball Association and various professional leagues. He played for the Toronto Raptors in 1999. He later became a basketball coach.

He then played college basketball at Ohio State University from 1989 to 1992, where he established himself as one of the program's best playmakers, ranking sixth in all-time assists in school history.

Professional Career

After going undrafted in 1992, Baker signed with the Charlotte Hornets but was waived before the season began. He then played in the Continental Basketball Association for the Columbus Horizon, averaging 10.6 points and 7.2 assists per game.

His career took him to various leagues and countries, including stints with the Palm Beach Stingrays, Long Island Surf, WBC Wels in Austria, Atlantic City Seagulls, and Basket Livorno in Italy. He returned to the CBA with the Grand Rapids Hoops before making his NBA debut with the Toronto Raptors in 1999, appearing in one game.

The latter part of his career included playing for Cibona in Croatia and concluding with the Florida Sea Dragons in 2001. After his playing career, he became the head coach of the Dayton Jets in the International Basketball League.
