Augustus Bailey

Augustus Bailey was an American professional basketball player who played five seasons in the National Basketball Association. He made his NBA debut with the Houston Rockets in 1974. He also played with the New Orleans Jazz and the Washington Bullets.

Bailey was selected by both the Houston Rockets in the NBA Draft and the San Diego Conquistadors in the ABA Draft in 1974.

He chose to sign with the Rockets, playing there from 1974 to 1976. He then joined the New Orleans Jazz (1977-1978) before concluding his NBA career with the Washington Bullets in 1979. Throughout his NBA career, he appeared in 147 games.
