Martynas Andriuskevicius

Martynas Andriuskevicius is a former Lithuanian professional basketball player who briefly played in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the Cleveland Cavaliers. He later on made a career in Europe. He also played for the Lithuanian National Basketball Team and they won gold in 2010 at the FIBA World Cup Turkey.

Martynas Andriuskevicius was born on March 12, 1986, in Kaunas, Lithuania. He stands 218 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 115 kg. He shoots right and played center throughout his career.

Professional Career

Andriuskevicius began his professional career with Žalgiris Kaunas in Lithuania, where he played from 2002 to 2005. During this time, he also played for their development team, Žalgiris-Arvydas Sabonis School from 2002 to 2004.

He was selected by the Orlando Magic in the second round, 44th overall, of the 2005 NBA Draft and was immediately traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers. His NBA career consisted of brief stints with the Cavaliers and Chicago Bulls, while also spending time with their D-League affiliates, the Arkansas RimRockers and Dakota Wizards.

After his NBA experience, Andriuskevicius moved to Spain where he played for Lucentum Alicante from 2007 to 2011. He then had a season with PAOK in Greece (2011-2012) before returning to Lithuania to play for Neptūnas Klaipėda.

His later career saw him playing across Europe, including stints with SKS Starogard Gdański in Poland (2013), TEMP-SUMZ Revda in Russia (2014-2015), and Helios Suns in Slovenia (2016). He concluded his professional career playing for CB Prat in Spain (2017-2018) and S.C. Lusitânia in Portugal (2018-2019).
