Alan Anderson is an American former professional basketball player who played eight seasons in the National Basketball Association with Toronto Raptors, Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Clippers, and several seasons internationally. Professional Career
Anderson's professional career began in 2005 when he went undrafted but signed with the Charlotte Bobcats. After his initial NBA stint, he played for the Tulsa 66ers before returning briefly to the Bobcats in 2007.He then embarked on an extensive international career, playing for several European clubs including Virtus Bologna in Italy, Triumph Lyubertsy in Russia, Cibona in Croatia (where he won Croatian Cup MVP in 2009), and Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel.
His success continued with FC Barcelona in Spain, where he earned Spanish King's Cup MVP honors in 2011. He also had a stint with the Shandong Lions in China.
Anderson returned to the NBA in 2012, playing for the Toronto Raptors (2012-2013), Brooklyn Nets (2013-2015), Washington Wizards (2015-2016), and Los Angeles Clippers (2016-2017).
He concluded his career with the Lakeland Magic in 2018. Throughout his career, he wore numbers 15, 6, 9, 11, and 32 while playing both shooting guard and small forward positions.
