Pat Burke represented Orlando Magic in the 2002-03 season and Phoenix Suns during the 2005-06 and 2006-07 seasons. In 1997, he went undrafted out of the Auburn University. In 2002, when he signed a contract with Orlando Magic, he became the first Irish player in the history of the NBA. He represented Orlando Magic in 62 games and had an average of 2.4 rebounds and 4.3 points. In 2007, he was a member of the training camp of the Golden State Warriors but was eventually released.
Burke won the Russia Cup with Khimki BC in 2008. When he was with Real Madrid, he was a member of the runner up team in the ULEB Cup in 2004. With the same team, he won the Spanish League in 2005. As a member of Panathinaikos BC, he won the Greek Championship in 1999, 2000 and 2001 as well as the Euroleague in 2000.
