Ersan Ilyasova is a member of the Turkey national basketball team who also plays for Regal FC Barcelona of the Spanish ACB that is based in Barcelona. He plays in the position of small forward or power forward. He weighs 236 lbs and is 6 feet 10 inches tall.
During the 2005 NBA draft in the 2nd round, he was chosen by Milwaukee Bucks as the 36th overall pick. On 23rd August 2005, he signed a 2 year contract with them. However, in the 2005-06 season, he did not participate in an NBA game. Instead, he was shifter to Tulsa 66ers which is the Bucks’ affiliated D-League team. Along with this team, he played 46 games and had an average of 7 rebounds and 12.5 points per game. He debuted in the NBA on 1ST November 2006 for the Bucks.
He played for Ulkerspor in the 2004-05 season, for Tulsa 66ers in the 2005-06 season and Milwaukee Bucks in the 2006-07 season. On 16th June 2007, he made a contract of 2 years with Regal FC Barcelona. In the history of this team, he is the first Turkish player.
