Ermal Kurtoglu is a player who plays in the Forward Center position and has a height of 6 feet 10 inches and weight of 260 lbs. Presently, he is a representative of the Turkey national basketball team as well as Pamesa Valencia, the Spanish side.
In the past, he has played for the following teams – 1993 to 1995 – SK Tirana, 1995 to 1999 – Fenerbahce, 1999-2000 – Fort Scott Community college, 2000-01 – Seminole State College, 2001-02 – KK Split, 2002-03 – KK Pivovarna Lasko and 2003 to 2008 – Efes Pilsen.
In the European Championships in Spain played in 2007, he played 6 games and averaged 3.2 points per game and 1.3 rebounds per game. During 2006 and 2007, he was the Turkish President Cup Winner. In 2006, when the World Championships were held in Japan, he participated in 9 games and had the following statistics – 0.700 free throw percentage, 0.214 3-point field goal percentage, 0.360 field goal percentage, 1.6 assists per game, 2.2 rebounds per game and 7.9 points per game.

Career Highlights
Along with Efes Pilsen, Ermal Kortuglu was the Beko Basketbol Ligi Champion in 2003-04 and 2004-05. He was the NJCAA Preseason All American with Seminole State College in the 2000-01 season.
