Cenk Akyol is presently a member of the Turkey national basketball team. He plays in the position of shooting guard or small forward. His height is 6 feet 6.75 inches and weight is 200 lbs.
During the 2005 NBA draft, he was drafted by Atlanta Hawks in the 2nd round as the 59th overall draft. Throughout his career from 2003 till date, he has been along with Efes Pilsen with the exception of the 2007-08 season, when he played for Galatasaray Café Crown.
It is said that Akyol has good ball handling skills and excellent size. He has the necessary mental tools, creativity and nice shooting touch to succeed in the international game and in some cases the NBA also. He has sufficient experience due to the trust the Turkey national team has bestowed over him in the recent past as well as his record at Efes Pilsen as a Euroleague player.
