Michalis Pelekanos
Michalis Pelekanos is 6 feet 6.5 inches tall and weighs 216 lbs. he plays in the position of Small forward or shooting guard.
From 1996 to 2004, Pelekanos played for Peristeri. He was a member of AEK Athens from 2004 to 2006. During the 2006-07 season, he played for Panellinios and in the 2007-08 season for Real Madrid. At present, he is a member of Greek national basketball team and Olympiacos BC.
He was a part of the Greek national basketball team that took part in Eurobasket 2007 as well as the squad for the 2008 Olympic basketball tournament. While playing at Panellinios, he displayed highlight reel dunks and exciting defensive plays due to which his fans chanted his name during the games.
His Euroleague career highs are as follows – 38 minutes on 17th January 2002, 2 Blocks on 11th January 2001, 7 steals on 5th January 2006, 5 assists on 5th January 2006, 7 defensive rebounds on 5th January 2006, 2 offensive rebounds on 23rd November 2005, 19 points on 5th January 2006 and 38 Index rating on 5th January 2006.
