Yiannis Bourousis
Yiannis Bourousis is also called as Giannis Bourousis or Ioannis Bourousis. He is a member of the Greece national basketball team.
From 2001 to 2006, he was a member of AEK Athens in the Greek League. During 2006, he played for FC Barcelona in the Spanish ACB League. From 2006 to 2009, he represented Olympiacos Piraeus in the Greek League.
Bourousis weighs 265 lbs and is 7 feet 0.75 inches tall. He plays in the position of power forward center. He began his athletic career to develop as a professional swimmer, however he became very tall for the sport and at the age of 18, started playing basketball. His professional career started in 2001 in the Greek League with AEK Athens. During the 2007 European Championship in Spain, the Greek national basketball team finished fourth and Bourousis was a part of this team.

Yiannis Bourousis won 2 Gold Medals for the Greek national basketball team – at the 2005 European Championship in 2005 and FIBA Europe Under 20 Championship in 2002. He was the HEBA Greek All Star Game MVP in 2009 and the 4 time Greek League All Star in 2006 to 2009. In 2002, he won the Greek Championship with AEK.
