Carlos Boozer, Jr. is a former professional basketball player from the United States of America. He played in the National Basketball Association for teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers, Utah Jazz, Chicago Bulls, and the Los Angeles Lakers. He also played for a short while in Canada.
In addition to his professional career, he also played for the United States internationally, and in 2008, he was part of the US Men’s National Basketball Team that won the gold at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

He is right-handed and he is a Power Forward and a Center.He has been married twice and his younger brother Charles Boozer played basketball in college. One of his sons – Cameron Boozer is one of the top recruits for the 2025 NBA Draft.
High School and College Career
He attended Juneau-Douglas High School in Juneau, Alaska. Later, he committed to play college basketball for Duke University and was there from 1999 to 2002.In 2001, he helped lead his team to the NCAA Championships.
Professional Career
He was a 2nd round during the 2002 NBA Draft, selected 35th overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers. In 2003, he was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. He played for Cleveland from 2002 to 2004 then he was traded to the Utah Jazz.While with the Jazz, he was named an NBA All-Star twice. In 2008, he was also named to the All-NBA Third Team.
He signed with the Chicago Bulls in 2010 and played for them through to 2014. From 2014 to 2015, he played for the Los Angeles Lakers – his last NBA Team. Before retiring, he played for the Guangdong Southern Tigers in China for a season.
Throughout his career, he has scored 13,976 points, 8,192 Rebounds, and 1,928 Assists.
