Ramunas Siskauskas won the Bronze medal in the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. He won the Gold medal in the 2003 Sweden Championships and the Bronze medal in the 2007 Spain European Champions. He represented the Lithuanian national team for all these medals. In the Eurobasket 2007 All-Tournament Team, Siskauskas was selected as a member.

Siskauskas began his professional career as part of the BC Sakalai team from 1996 to 1998. Then, he shifted to the basketball giant of Lithuania, BC Lietuvos Rytas and led this team to LKL (Lietuvos Krepsinio Lyga) titles in 2000 and 2002. He was along with this team from 1998 to 2004. He was included in the roster of Benetton Treviso from 2004 to 2006. A 2 year deal was signed by him with Panathinaikos BC during the 2006 off season. He assisted this team to win the Greek League Championship, the Greek Cup Championship and the Euroleague 2006-07 Championship. From 2007 to 2009, he represented CSKA Moscow. He helped this team to win the Euroleague 2007-08 and the Russian League Championship. In 2008, he was selected for the European Award as one of the best players in Europe.
