Kelly McCarty
Kelly McCarty is basically from America, but currently is a naturalized Russian basketball player. At present he plays in the Russian Super League and is a member of Khimki BC.
McCarty has a height of 6 feet 7 inches and plays in the position of Forward or Guard. He was a student of the University of Southern Mississippi. Then, in 1999, he joined Denver Nuggets in the NBA. He moved to Asia and represented Maccabi Ness in Israel. Further, he signed with Hapoel Jerusalem B.C. In 2003-04, he was a winner of the ULEB Cup with this team. Moreover, he was selected as Final MVP. During the 2004-05 season, he shifted to Dynamo Saint Petersburg and this team won the EuroCup competition without being defeated in a single game. McCarty was chosen as the Final Four MVP. He played a major role in Dynamo’s performance in the EuroCup championship. During the season, he had an average of 19.5 points per game and he managed double figures in all 19 games. During the semi-final against BC Khimki, he accumulated 18 points and in the final against BC Kyiv, he recorded a game-high 24 points.
