Tracy McGrady is a retired professional basketball player from the United States of America. He played in the National Basketball Association from 1997 to 2012 with teams like the Detroit Pistons, Toronto Raptors, and the Orlando Magic, and again in 2013 with the San Antonio Spurs. He also played in China for the Qingdao Eagles.
As an NBA player, he has been named an NBA All-Star seven times. In 2001, he was named the NBA Most Improved Player.

High School Career
McGrady attended Mount Zion Christian Academy High School in Durham, North Carolina. While in high school, he was named 1997 Mr. Basketball USA. He was also named a McDonald’s All-American and he was also named to the First-team Parade All-American.
Professional Career
During the 1997 NBA draft, he was chosen by the Toronto Raptors in the 1st round. He participated in the playoffs in the following seasons – 1999-2000, 2000-01, 2001-02, 2002-03, 2004-05, 2006-07 and 2007-08.
In the 38 games he has played in, McGrady had a 3-point field goal percentage of 0.301, a field goal percentage of 0.430, and a free throw percentage of 0.756. He gathered 1084 points, 88 personal fouls, 261 rebounds, 236 assists.
McGrady appeared in 761 games in the NBA, wherein he received 26683 playing minutes.
