Rickey Brown is an American former professional basketball player who played in both the National Basketball Association and European leagues. NBA teams he has played for are the Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks.

Brown attended West Fulton High School in Atlanta, Georgia, before playing college basketball at Mississippi State University from 1976 to 1980.

Selected 13th overall by the Golden State Warriors in the 1980 NBA Draft, Brown played three seasons with the Warriors before joining the Atlanta Hawks (1983-1985).

He then had an extensive career in Europe, playing for several teams in Italy for teams such as - Basket Brescia, Olimpia Milano, Reyer Venezia, and Libertas Livorno. He also played in Spain for Unicaja Málaga, Real Madrid, and Tau Cerámica. And in Andorra for BC Andorra.

His European career was highlighted by winning the EuroLeague championship with Olimpia Milano in 1988.
