Brickowski attended Locust Valley Central School in Locust Valley, New York. He then played college basketball at Penn State University from 1977 to 1981.
Professional Career
Selected 57th overall by the New York Knicks in the 1981 NBA Draft, Brickowski began his professional career in Europe, playing in Italy, France, and Israel.
He made his NBA debut with the Seattle SuperSonics in 1984 and went on to play for six different NBA teams over twelve seasons, including San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks and Charlotte Hornets. He concluded his career with the Boston Celtics in 1997.
