Career
Nocioni began his professional journey in the Argentine basketball league (LNB) during the 1995-96 season, quickly making an impact as the Best Sixth Man in the 1998-99 season. His talents eventually took him to Spain, where he joined TAU Cerámica in 2001, further honing his skills in a competitive European league. However, it was with the Argentinian National Team that Nocioni truly shone, playing a pivotal role in the historic 2002 victory over the United States at the Basketball World Championship in Indianapolis.In 2004, Nocioni signed with the Bulls as an undrafted rookie free agent. His debut season was impressive, featuring 81 games with an average of 8 points per game. His performance peaked in his second season, where he averaged 13 points and earned the title of Bulls' Player of the Year. Despite facing challenges like plantar fasciitis in the 2006-07 season, he remained a consistent presence, starting in numerous games and securing a five-year deal worth $38 million with the team in 2007.
